Job summary

Spicer Group is seeking a Land Development Director to lead our land development service area with strategic vision and impact. You’ll direct high-profile projects, align with executive leadership, and mentor a multidisciplinary team to deliver urban planning, redevelopment, and economic development initiatives.

The role emphasizes budget discipline, on-time delivery, client relationships, and growth of the service area across MI, OH, and GA; travel as needed to support regional efforts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, urban planning, or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive leadership in land development or related services.
• License or certification such as PE, AICP, PLA, LEED AP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead land development projects from concept to completion, ensuring scope, schedule, and budget alignment.
• Provide strategic planning, staffing, risk management, and regulatory coordination across the service area.
• Drive business development and client relationships to grow revenue and profitability.
