Job summary

TYG is seeking a Civil Engineer to join its Land Development team in Texas. You will work on residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments, taking ownership from planning through construction while collaborating with clients, municipalities, and other consultants.

Ideal candidates have 2–5 years in civil engineering, knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D, and strong communication skills. PE or progression toward PE is a plus, with a focus on long-term career growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• 2–5 years in civil, site, or land development.
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• PE or progression toward PE is a plus.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop land development plans for residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects.
• Prepare site layouts, grading/drainage, utility, and stormwater designs.
• Develop construction documents and technical specifications.
• Coordinate with clients, municipalities, and other consultants.
• Assist with permitting and regulatory requirements.
• Support projects through design, approval, and construction.
• Collaborate with project managers to grow technical and project management skills.
