Job summary

CyberCoders is seeking a Civil Engineer in Fort Myers, FL to lead site development and infrastructure projects, including stormwater, sewer, water systems, and grading. You will prepare drawings, specs and reports, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, and support permitting efforts.

The ideal candidate has a BS in Civil Engineering, 3+ years of experience in commercial/industrial projects, and proficiency with AutoCAD and Civil 3D. PE license is preferred or achievable.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering required.
• Civil engineering experience in site development and infrastructure projects.
• PE license preferred or ability to obtain.
• 3+ years of experience, ideally in commercial, industrial, or heavy civil projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, drainage design, and hydrologic/hydraulic modeling.
• Knowledge of stormwater management, permitting, grading, excavation, and erosion control.
• Experience with water, sewer, lift station design, and utility coordination.
• Preferred experience: environmental or structural engineering, land development, utilities, paving, site work, permitting, and construction management.

Responsibilities

• Design civil engineering solutions for site development, grading, drainage, utilities, and stormwater systems.
• Prepare construction drawings, specifications, calculations, and technical reports.
• Develop stormwater management, erosion control, and permitting plans.
• Design water, sewer, and lift station infrastructure.
• Create site layouts, grading plans, paving details, and coordinate with structural teams.
• Produce and revise plans using CAD/Civil 3D and related software.
• Support permitting, agency coordination, and regulatory compliance.
• Provide construction support, including submittal reviews, RFIs, inspections, and site visits.
• Prepare cost estimates, schedules, scopes of work, and proposal materials.
• Conduct QA/QC reviews and mentor junior staff.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams to resolve design and construction challenges.
