Job summary

WSP is seeking a Civil Engineer Consultant - Land Development in Irvine, CA to join our Earth & Environment Team. You will work on civil site development and solid waste/landfill projects for public and private clients, contributing through planning, design, permitting, construction support, and technical analyses.

The role offers collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, client coordination, and opportunities to grow technical expertise while traveling as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or closely related discipline.
• 3–5 years of civil engineering, land development, site design, solid waste/landfill engineering, or related consulting.
• Experience in civil site design, grading & drainage, earthwork analysis, utility design, or permitting support.

Responsibilities

• Support planning, design, and execution of civil site development and landfill projects.
• Prepare civil layout, grading, drainage, earthwork, and utility designs.
• Assist with engineering calculations, reports, permit apps, drawings, and cost estimates.
• Support construction-phase services including submittals, RFIs, site observations.
