Job summary

England-Thims & Miller, Inc. seeks a CAD Technician to provide routine drafting and design support for Professional Engineer/Project Engineer during planning and design of civil projects.

Responsibilities include transforming rough designs into CAD documents, reviewing notes and redlines, and obtaining design tasks with budget allocations. A HS diploma or GED and CAD education are required.

Qualifications

• 0–3 years of experience in CAD/drafting or related field.
• Proficiency with CAD drafting and ability to transform rough designs into working documents.
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret complex information.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine drafting and design support for Engineer/Project Engineer.
• Transform initial rough product designs into working CAD documents.
• Review and complete detailed notes, cover sheets, and basic redlines.
• Take work assignments from Engineer/Project Engineer with allocated budget.
