Land Development Assistant Project Manager - Civil Site Design

This role is suitable for candidates with a few years of experience in Civil Site Design seeking the next career step. The successful candidate will support project management in land development projects from start to finish, overseeing civil engineering documents, coordinating with subconsultants and clients, mentoring junior staff, and assisting with permitting processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in managing project schedules and budgets.
• Coordinate with engineers, architects, and contractors.
• Prepare civil site design plans and utility layouts.
• Oversee stormwater management design, including HGL modeling and fire flow design.
• Support permitting processes and liaise with regulatory agencies.
• Develop grading, sediment, and erosion control plans.
• Utilize AutoCAD and Civil 3D for design and drafting tasks.
• Participate in project meetings and report on progress and challenges.
• Build and maintain client relationships to foster repeat business.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or related field.
• At least 3 years of civil site design experience.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Strong knowledge of site design, utility layouts, and stormwater management.
• Excellent organizational and detail-oriented skills.
• EI certification with a path toward PE preferred.
