Job Summary

Urban Grid seeks a Land and Lease Administrator to provide clerical and administrative support to the Site Acquisition team. This role manages contract files related to land acquisition, collaborates with departments on contract administration, performs data entry, and handles general administrative functions. The ideal candidate is flexible, capable of working in a dynamic team, familiar with land and lease management, legal contract basics, and accounting principles. Strong communication and technical skills are essential, along with a passion for land and renewable energy.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in preparing payment requests, contract reports, and onboarding landowners into systems
  • Manage data gathering, spreadsheets, files, databases, and document retention within land management platforms
  • Update land contract management systems across the portfolio
  • Perform other data management and administrative tasks as assigned
  • Learn and maintain reports on land acquisition processes
  • Coordinate with community engagement for landowner onboarding
  • Work with legal counsel on recording memorandums
  • Develop SOPs for contract administration throughout project lifecycle
  • Perform additional duties as needed

Location: Remote work acceptable, preferably Eastern Time Zone.

Requirements
  • Background may include technology (Computer Science, Information Systems) or land (Real Estate, Law)
  • Proficiency in database management and administration
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Ability to interpret real estate contract terms quickly
  • Familiarity with solar project development phases
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; knowledge of ARC GIS and ESRI systems
  • Team-oriented with attention to detail and multitasking skills
