Qualifications

• Machinist II: typically, 2+ years of machining experience with tighter tolerances.
• CNC operation experience preferred; G-code/M-code programming required for Machinist II.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and monitor precision machining equipment including grinding, slicing, drilling, milling, and CNC-based operations.
• Maintain dimensional accuracy and surface finish to required tolerances, typically ranging from .0008 to below .0005 depending on role level.
• Perform machine adjustments, tool changes, and basic program edits as required.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, quality, and process-related issues; assist with root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Inspect parts using precision measuring instruments to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Collaborate with Quality and Engineering to resolve production or quality concerns.
