Job summary

Boyd Corp in Lancaster, PA seeks an operator to set up and run CNC Machining Centers, load and modify programs, deburr parts, and fixture production parts. You will perform routine center maintenance and ensure parts meet customer specifications using precision gauges.

Responsibilities include first article submission to QC, analyzing reports to adjust setups, and maintaining a clean work area while following safety rules.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; trade school or apprenticeship preferred or 2 years CNC experience.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and communicate effectively with coworkers.
• Ability to calculate feeds, speeds and geometry for material being cut.

Responsibilities

• Set up CNC Machining Centers for single parts and production runs.
• Submit First Article Parts to QC and analyze inspection reports to adjust programs and setups.
• Use gauges and simple tools to verify part dimensions and adjust tooling as needed.
• Maintain clean work environment and perform routine machine maintenance.
