Job summary

Peraton is seeking a LAN Team Lead to provide technical leadership and operational management for the Local Area Network infrastructure supporting the U.S. Army Global Cyber Center at Fort Huachuca.

You will lead a squad of 4–5 network technicians and analysts to ensure 24/7/365 mission readiness, availability, and security across dual-fabric NIPRNET and SIPRNET networks. Qualifications

• Active Secret security clearance
• CompTIA Security+ CE (DoD 8140 Baseline)
• DCWF work code 802 alignment
• 10+ years of experience; multiple degree paths may apply

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and direct a 4–5 member team of network technicians and analysts.
• Manage workload, ticket queues, ASIs, and incident escalation for mission SLAs.
• Represent the LAN team in governance forums with military/government leadership.
• Oversee on-call rotation and urgent restoration efforts.
• Create and maintain SOPs, MOPs, and change docs for scheduled maintenance.
• Maintain switch configuration integrity and VLAN/IP mappings across GCC devices.
• Plan physical pathways, conduit routing, and rack elevations; update diagrams in Visio.
• Coordinate asset tracking and DoD property accountability per regulations.
• Ensure DISA STIG, CORA, CSSP, and IAVA compliance across the LAN.
