Job summary

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent may be required.
• Basic reading, writing and arithmetic skills required.
• Must be able to read and understand blueprints, tape measure, calipers, and other shop drawing aids.

Responsibilities

• Assemble LAN Premise products using hand and air-powered tools.
• Identify and select correct tooling/hardware with guidance.
• Report and document material, production and quality control issues.
• Participate in preventive maintenance at operator level.
• Read blueprints to verify specifications and perform in-process inspections.
• Load and route fiber assemblies per color/numbering system.
• Test with Visual Fault Locator to ensure light passes through fiber.
