Multilink Inc. in Elyria, OH is seeking a General Labor technician to prepare sub-assemblies and finished products to exact specifications using hand and air-powered tools with lubricant sealant.

You will read blueprints, document issues, and participate in basic maintenance while maintaining a clean and safe work environment. Qualified candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent, basic math skills, and the ability to read measurements and shop drawings.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent may be required.
• Basic reading, writing and arithmetic skills required.
• Must be able to read and understand blueprints, tape measure, calipers, and other shop drawing aids.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively implement or respond to change.
• Understanding and support of Company policies and procedures.
• Safety conscious behavior.
• Excellent attendance.

Responsibilities

• Assemble products and operate equipment such as hand tools and air-powered tools with lubricant sealant.
• Apply required sealants according to quality guidelines.
• Polish stainless steel and clean using provided supplies.
• Report and document material, production and quality issues.
• Participate in operator-level preventative maintenance.
• Read blueprints to verify specifications and perform inspections.
• Move material safely with a pallet jack.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area using 5S principles.
• Support teammates and communicate effectively to manage workflow.
• Adhere to company policies, processes and procedures.
