Job summary

Mativ is seeking a Laminator Operator to operate and monitor laminators in a cleanroom setting, ensuring product quality and compliance with safety standards. Responsibilities include setup, changeovers, and documentation, with the ability to work day or night shifts as needed.

The role requires mechanical aptitude, basic math, attention to detail, and the ability to read technical documents. A high school diploma or equivalent and at least 1 year in manufacturing are preferred.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability.
• Basic math and measurement skills.
• Ability to read technical documents and procedures.
• Attention to detail and strong communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in teams.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of manufacturing experience (cleanroom or regulated industry preferred).

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor laminators according to product specs and SOPs.
• Perform setup, changeovers and tooling verification.
• Control process parameters (speed, alignment, temperature, pressure).
• Maintain cleanroom standards and adhere to PPE and safety rules.
• Inspect product quality and segregate non-conforming material.
• Complete production documentation accurately.
• Report and support resolution of mechanical/process issues.
• Maintain adherence to EHS and cGMP-compliant protocols.
• Flexibility to cover day or night shifts as needed.
