Full-Time Laminator Assistant Operator

We are currently seeking a Full-Time Laminator Assistant Operator. The role involves interpreting job instructions to set up and operate laminating machines, producing multi-ply laminated structures. Responsibilities include setting control settings, safety checks, troubleshooting, leading and supporting the crew, and ensuring safety and quality standards are met.

Compensation: $19.90 per hour plus shift differential.

Shift Availability: 2nd shift (3:00 pm - 11:00 pm) and 3rd shift (11:00 pm - 7:00 am), Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities

• Support and maintain a safe work environment, following all safety policies and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with PPE and Food Safety policies.
• Maintain a clean and hazard-free workspace.
• Prepare for jobs and perform changeovers with the team.
• Ensure materials, tools, and supplies are ready for production.
• Organize tasks for setup and changeovers, minimizing waste.
• Identify crew requirements and assemble machine parts.
• Manage adhesives, coatings, and machine components.
• Load materials according to specifications.
• Record material usage and inspect quality.
• Train and mentor team members.
• Troubleshoot machine issues and perform maintenance.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of experience as a Laminator Operator or Assistant.
• Ability to read measurements, interpret job orders, perform calculations, and operate a stopwatch.
• Proficiency with hand tools.
• Customer-oriented, motivated, team player, effective communicator.
• Flexible shifts and overtime support.

Additional Information

The hourly pay range is $19.90 plus shift differential. Benefits include health coverage, retirement plans, leave programs, training, and allowances. Compensation depends on experience and qualifications. This posting applies to candidates hired on the US payroll.
