Job summary

Amcor is hiring a Machine Assistant- Asheville to support Coater or Laminator operations. You will help the operator run laminating equipment, monitor quality, and maintain safety.

The role includes night shifts and opportunities for growth within a global packaging leader. The position offers a starting pay of $21/hour with a $1/hour night shift premium, overtime at 1.5x over 40 hours, and a comprehensive benefits package starting day one.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude and keen eye for minor imperfections and color accuracy.
• Willingness to learn new systems and operate basic computer tools.
• Commitment to teamwork, safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Set up and assist the laminators to meet quality and productivity goals.
• Troubleshoot lamination, web handling, and equipment issues.
• Inspect adhesion quality and verify customer specifications.
• Follow safety procedures and chemical handling requirements.
• Complete required documentation and reports.
