Job summary

Amcor is seeking an experienced Machine Operator for the Printing Department on the overnight shift to support production, inspection, and packaging of products. Responsibilities include operating equipment safely, maintaining production runs, and ensuring quality, with strong emphasis on safety and attendance.

Starting pay is $18.00 per hour with built-in overtime, and the role requires reading process manuals, paperwork, and compliance with GMP/HACCP standards. Third shift details available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent work experience.
• Ability to inspect and package plastic products.
• Ability to stand/walk for 8 hours.
• Ability to read, write and record in quality records.
• Read through process manuals and record measurements.
• Follow safety, GMP and HACCP practices.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment efficiently and safely.
• Inspect and package plastic products.
• Safely utilize basic tools before placing boxes on a pallet.
• Properly complete all required paperwork.
• Read through process manuals and record measurements.
• Ensure accuracy and monitor quality of production runs.
• Maintain continuous production runs and machine efficiency.
• Maintain plant cleanliness through daily work-area cleaning and proper scrap placement.
• Perform additional job duties as required by leadership efficiently and safely.
• Adhere to all Company and Departmental procedures.
• Follow all Safety, Food Safety, GMP and HACCP practices.
