Job summary

Printpack is seeking a qualified Laminator Assistant for the Converting plant in Grand Prairie, TX. The Laminator Assistant provides critical support to the lamination process by assisting the Laminator Operator in the preparation, execution, and maintenance of lamination operations.

This role is essential in ensuring efficient production flow, maintaining quality standards, and supporting overall manufacturing excellence while adhering to safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing experience is a plus.
• Demonstrated stable work history.
• Ability to read and use measuring tools.
• Attention to detail and quality control.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety protocols while assisting machine operations.
• Prepare and manage printed rolls for unwind and splices.
• Position and align rolls for efficient production.
• Support Laminator Operator to meet production goals.
• Monitor adhesive levels for continuous production.
• Weigh and document startup rolls.
• Clean and maintain NIP rolls during setup and downtime.
• Keep the work area clean and organized.
• Weigh waste materials and manage waste per procedures.
• Assist in improving changeover efficiency.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
