Job summary

VSR Industries in Henderson, NV is hiring a Laminator to apply adhesives and laminate coverings to composite panels, ensuring clean edges and proper finishing. Responsibilities include inspecting edges, using files or trimmers, and maintaining a tidy work area on day shifts.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and at least 1 year of laminating experience, plus basic math and tape measure skills. Pre-employment drug screen and background check are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year experience as a laminator in a cabinet or wood shop.
• Basic math and tape measure usage is required.
• Ability to understand basic directions in English.

Responsibilities

• Apply contact adhesives to surfaces with a spray gun or roller.
• Apply laminated covering materials to composite wood or metal.
• Clean or wipe solvent from edges.
• Examine edges to detect ridges and remove excess with file or trimmer.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

• Apply laminated covering materials to composite wood or metal.
• Clean or wipe solvent from edges.
• Examine edges of laminated part to detect ridges, use a file or electric trimmer to remove excess.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Be able to understand basic directions in English (required)
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum of a year experience working as a laminator in a cabinet or wood shop.
• Must have basic math skills, and accurately use a tape measure.
• Experience using basic hand tools (preferred.)
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Must have good eye-hand coordination.
• Pre-employment drug screen and background check are required

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Must be able to stand, walk and lift for up to 8 hours daily.
• Vision abilities requires close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth
• Required to lift, push, pull, and/or carry up to 50 lbs. continually.
