Job summary

Brunswick Boat Group is seeking a Lamination Technician - RTM to perform fiberglass lamination tasks in the Resin Transfer Molding department, including mold prep, gel coaters, and transporting finished parts. The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs and adherence to safety standards including PPE.

The position offers a pay range of $20.90–$23.65 per hour, benefits, and opportunities within a leading marine manufacturer.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
Minimum of 1 year related boating building experience preferred.
3 years fiberglass lamination experience preferred.
Ability to read and understand blueprints.
Ability to read a tape measure.
Ability to read and understand a production schedule.
Requires ability to use a wide variety of hand tools, powered and manual.
Ability to work in a hot and dusty environment, using protective clothing and respirator.
Ability to pass a respirator fit test.

Responsibilities

Maintains and adjusts resin mixers and pumps.
Reads production schedule and ensures parts are being completed and moved on to the next station in a timely manner.
Must follow all safety standards and procedures, including chemical handling standards and Personal Protective Equipment.
PPE requirements include wearing respirators, gloves, chemical resistance aprons, and chemical resistant suits.
Ability to use hand, battery, and pneumatic tools.
