Job summary

Analog Modules, Inc. is seeking a manufacturing associate to fabricate composite parts and ensure high quality through careful inspection and adherence to procedures.

The role involves layup of carbon fiber, Kevlar, fiberglass, and hand layup techniques, plus trimming, assembly, and record-keeping in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a High School Diploma or GED, 1–2 years of manufacturing experience, strong attention to detail, and good English communication.

• Perform part build-up free from wrinkles, air pockets, and voids.
• Check completed products for conformance to specifications and for defects by checking them visually.
• Records information on appropriate production records, logs and other report forms.
• P erforms re-work as required.
• Adheres to 5S and safety standards in daily work.
• Follows internal training and contributes to a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Job description

Position Summary: Responsible for performing all tasks involved in the fabrication of the company’s composite parts. The position follows standard work methods and practices safe work habits to ensure production is as efficient and safe as possible.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Prep and maintain tools in accordance with specified guidelines and procedures
• Accurately follow work instructions
• Perform Composite layup such as: Carbon Pre-Preg, Carbon Fibers, Kevlar layup, Fiberglass and Hand Layup
• Trim excess materials from molds, using hand shears or trimming knives
• Perform part build-up free from wrinkles, air pockets, and voids
• Check completed products for conformance to specifications and for defects by checking them visually
• Understands & completes internal & customer required layup documents.
• Records information on appropriate production records, logs and other report forms
• Performs re-work as required
• Cleans and reseals tools using the appropriate release systems
• Be aware of FOD & Tool control at all times
• Continuously demonstrate 5S Application
• Adheres to the highest practicable safety and housekeeping standards.
• Repairs defective products rejected by inspection or test personnel
• Required participation in internal training as needed to perform the duties assigned to this role
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities)

• U.S. Person status required do to export control
• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• 1-2 years of manufacturing experience preferred
• Composite experience highly preferred
• Strong organizational skills
• Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
• Must be able to verbally communicate, read and comprehend written and verbal instructions in English
• Capable of doing simple mathematical calculations
• Familiar with a variety of hand tools and measuring instruments
• Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers and the management team
• Must be well organized, flexible, and able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Must thrive in a team-oriented and deadline-driven environment
• Familiarity and skill with interpreting technical drawings and blueprints
• Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers and the management team

Pay Range

The estimated pay range for this job. Disclosing pay information promotes competitive and equitable pay. The actual pay rate will depend on the person's qualifications and experience.

$19.00 - $21.00 / hour
