Job summary

EGGER North America is seeking a Lamination Press Machine Operator in Lexington, NC to press decorative paper onto particleboards and produce Thermally Fused Laminate boards. You will operate advanced equipment, perform quality checks, and support production efficiency.

The role requires attention to detail, teamwork, and readiness to learn, with a 12-hour rotating swing shift (2-2-3) and full-time employment. Starting pay is $21 per hour, with benefits listed in the description.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma required; further education is a plus.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Experience with tools and machinery in a manufacturing setting.
  • Clear communication and teamwork skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; ability to learn new software.

Responsibilities

  • Set up, operate, and monitor lamination press machinery.
  • Use the HMI to adjust temperature, pressure, and cycle times.
  • Ensure production specifications and quality standards are met.
  • Troubleshoot issues during production.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area and follow SOPs.
  • Participate in training programs as required.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Overview

Starting Pay: $21/hour

EGGER Wood Products is seeking a dedicated Lamination Press Machine Operator to join our team. In this role, you'll operate advanced machinery to press decorative paper onto particleboards, creating Thermally Fused Laminate (TFL) boards. You will also conduct quality checks and collaborate with your team to keep our production processes running smoothly and efficiently.

Schedule: 12-hour rotating 7-7 swing shift (2-2-3) 2 weeks days & 2 weeks nights.

Responsibilities
  • Set up, operate, and monitor advanced lamination press machinery.
  • Utilize the HMI panel to adjust manufacturing settings such as temperature, pressure, and cycle time.
  • Ensure adherence to production specifications and quality standards.
  • Troubleshoot and address issues that may arise during the production process.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment in the production area.
  • Follow all Safety Rules and Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Ability to learn and understand a comprehensive training program.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Schedule Demands

Physical Demands
  • Sitting, standing, and walking for extended periods of time up to 12 hours.
  • Occasional lifting up to 20 lbs.
