Position Overview
Follows the written and verbal instructions of Supervisors and operators to meet the requirements of the production schedule. Insure the handling of coated goods production. Maintains continual monitoring of assigned manufacturing equipment as to conformance to quality standards. Responsibility for meeting established production rates for assigned equipment. Responsible for cleanliness of work area. Responsible for minimizing scrap. Follows all safety and company policy requirements.
Essential Job Duties And Responsibilities
Ø Follows the requirements of the assigned SAP schedule to meet production demand.
Ø Reads the order for the specific material.
Ø Confirms that the material on the machine matches the SAP order.
Ø Helps with machine set up based upon established specifications.
Ø Takes samples to give to QA
Ø Reports the finished product to SAP order.
Ø Store the product using a forklift (after attaining Forklift certification - Milliken provides the training)
Ø Unloads and loads lamination equipment with material.
Ø Adjusts equipment to maintain proper quality standards.
Ø Cleans production area and assigned equipment.
Ø Notifies Supervisor and/ or operator of any problems.
Ø Completes projects and tasks assigned.
Ø Advises the Production Manager on issues and improvements pertaining to areas of responsibility.
Ø Cleans pumps and other production equipment.
Ø Advises Supervisor/Leadership on issues regarding safety.
Ø Ensures the compliance of procedures to all company policies.
Ø Any other reasonably related duties as assigned by supervisor or other higher-level managers.

ü Compliance with all safety and company regulations for assigned area of responsibility.
