The Lamination Machine Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining lamination machines to produce high-quality laminated materials. This role involves monitoring machine functions, ensuring adherence to quality standards, troubleshooting equipment issues, and collaborating with other team members to meet production targets. The Lamination Machine Operator must maintain a safe and organized workspace, follow all safety guidelines, and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Machine Setup and Operation:
  • Set up and adjust lamination machines according to production specifications.
  • Load materials and supplies into the machine for continuous operation.
  • Operate the lamination machine to laminate various materials according to specifications.
  • Quality Control:
  • Monitor laminated materials to ensure they meet quality standards.
  • Inspect finished products for defects, consistency, and adherence to specifications.
  • Make adjustments as needed to maintain quality and resolve any issues.
  • Maintenance and Troubleshooting:
  • Perform regular maintenance on the lamination machine, including cleaning and minor repairs.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve minor technical issues to prevent production delays.
  • Report significant equipment issues to the maintenance team promptly.
  • Safety and Compliance:
  • Follow all health and safety regulations and company policies.
  • Ensure the lamination process complies with all quality and safety standards.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace to prevent accidents and equipment malfunctions.
  • Documentation and Reporting:
  • Record production data, including material usage, output, and any issues encountered.
  • Prepare daily reports on production, downtime, and any corrective actions taken.
  • Communicate with supervisors and team members about production goals, progress, and issues.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred.
  • Experience as a machine operator, preferably in lamination or a similar production setting.
  • Basic mechanical skills and the ability to troubleshoot and solve minor technical issues.
  • Knowledge of safety standards and protocols in an industrial setting.
  • Attention to detail, good hand-eye coordination, and physical stamina to work in a fast-paced environment.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents and specifications.
  • Proficiency in using measurement tools to ensure product quality.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

  • Training and Certification to drive a forklift

Physical Requirements:
