Composite Factory, a leading aerospace-grade composite manufacturer in Mooresville, NC, seeks a Lamination Lead to support the Production Supervisor. You will oversee daily lamination operations, train staff on Autoclave cure cycles, ensure production schedules, quality standards and safety protocols are met, and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in composite manufacturing.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, etc.).
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• US Citizen or Permanent Resident for ITAR compliance.

Responsibilities

• Assist Production Supervisor in introducing new parts and processes, training team for smooth transitions.
• Supervise and train employees on Autoclave cure cycles and safe loading/unloading.
• Coordinate cure cycles with Production Supervisor for efficiency.
• Support material inventory control and minimize waste.
• Assist with quoting processes and track manufacturing times for new parts and molds.
• Ensure adherence to procedures, report discrepancies, and uphold safety.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe workspace; enforce PPE use.
• Provide constructive feedback and coach employee performance.
• Collaborate with supervisor on operational improvements and throughput.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
