Job summary

Amcor is a global packaging leader seeking a qualified professional in Evansville, IN to provide technical support and lead projects that drive cost savings, 6S, and Kaizen across customer initiatives.

You will organize multiple projects, develop specifications, and ensure adherence to safety, environmental, and health requirements while collaborating with manufacturing, sales and quality teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or four years of related experience.
• Strong organizational skills with proven ability to complete multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of all aspects of job responsibilities.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Proven ability to lead, motivate, and direct in a positive manner.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to internal and external groups.
• Develop and lead special projects including cost savings, 6S, and Kaizen.
• Promote the development and success of customer initiatives.
• Organize and coordinate multiple projects with the ability to prioritize individual deadlines.
• Develop technical specifications.
• Provide documentation of customer specifications and procedures to appropriate recipient groups; manufacturing/sales/quality.
• Initiate color match requests and lead pre-production trials.
• Facilitate sample requests in correlation to planned production for optimum efficiency.
• Maintain and enforce all company safety, environmental, and department of health requirements.
