Job summary

Loews Hotels, LLC. is seeking a Spa & Fitness Center Manager to lead daily operations at the Ocean Spa and Fitness Center in Tucson. You will manage budgets, drive revenues, oversee staffing, and ensure exceptional guest experiences across all services.

The role requires strong leadership, scheduling, and regulatory compliance, with a focus on staff development, training, and maintaining high standards of service. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays is expected.

Responsibilities

• Oversee budget, sales, expenses, staffing, and marketing for spa and fitness areas.
• Manage cash flow, revenues and expenses for spa activities and memberships.
• Handle hiring, scheduling, termination and disciplinary actions.
• Train and evaluate team members to maintain high professional standards.
• Ensure licenses/certifications are up to date as required by law.
• Maintain relationships with outside vendors and local groups to promote the center.
• Ensure membership sales comply with regulations and standards.
• Assist staff in handling demanding guest situations to ensure satisfaction.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

• Oversee the budget, sales, expenses, staffing, marketing as relates to all areas of responsibility
• Responsible for cash flow, revenues and expenses as relates to the spa and fitness center and spa membership activities
• Responsible for hiring, scheduling, termination and disciplinary actions as relates to team member
• Responsible for team member training, development and evaluation to ensure the highest of professional and work ethics in the Ocean Spa and Fitness Center
• Ensure all staff maintains required licenses and certifications as required by law
• Develop and maintain contact with outside vendors, community leaders, local organizations and incoming groups and individual guest in order to maintain and promote the Ocean Spa and Fitness Center
• Ensure all membership sales are handled in a professional manner, observing all local, state and federal regulations
• Assist team members in dealing with demanding guest situations when necessary to ensure guest satisfaction and follow up while maintaining the integrity of the spa and fitness center
• Attend all training sessions and meetings as required

Qualifications

Required:

• Ability to comprehend and follow instructions, to make decisions without supervision and to prioritize tasks in order to meet appropriate deadlines
• Ability to converse professionally with upset guests, supervisors and team members during tense situations
• Ability to work a flexible schedule to include nights, weekends and holidays
