Job summary

Smoke on the Water is seeking a part-time Line Cook to join our lakefront team. The role offers $17–$22 per hour with pay based on experience. We value teamwork, flexibility, and a passion for great food as we expand services including catering and on/off premise events.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of line cook experience, along with experience in scratch cooking, pizzas, and BBQ. We emphasize safe food handling and a collaborative kitchen environment.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of line cook experience.
• Experience with scratch cooking, pizzas and BBQ.
• Ability to follow recipes and menu specifications.

Responsibilities

• Set up station and stock supplies for service.
• Prepare food items while following recipes and menu specs.
• Cook items to correct temperatures by grilling, frying, sauteing, and more.
• Complete prep lists in a timely manner.
• Maintain a clean, safe workspace following local, state, and federal guidelines.
• Clean, stock, and sanitize work areas after service.
• Work a variety of shifts and as part of a team.
• Follow directions and instructions from supervisors.
