Job summary

Rumbling Bald on Lake Lure is seeking a friendly Service Associate to greet and serve members and guests in a beautiful lake and mountain setting. You’ll take orders, deliver food and beverages, and ensure quality presentation while maintaining dining area cleanliness.

Qualified candidates should have excellent communication skills, the ability to stand for long periods, and be at least 18 years old (21+ for alcohol service). Training provided as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous serving experience preferred (willing to train the right candidate).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Must be at least 18 years old (21+ for alcohol service preferred).
• A valid driver’s license is required to operate a company vehicle or golf cart during event setup or when traveling between restaurant locations in the course of performing job duties.

Responsibilities

• Greet and serve members and guests in a courteous and professional manner
• Accurately take and enter food and beverage orders
• Deliver food and beverages promptly and ensure quality presentation
• Maintain knowledge of menu items, daily specials, and beverage offerings
• Process payments accurately and efficiently
• Assist with opening, closing, and side work duties
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas
• Follow all food safety and alcohol service guidelines
