Job summary

Flatirons Community Church in Lafayette Campus seeks an Elementary Small Group Staff member to lead the Lafayette Elementary small group experience and to recruit, train, and equip volunteers. This full-time, on-site role supports weekend and evening hours and aligns with the church's vision for kids and families.

You will build relationships with small group leaders and coaches, communicate curriculum, and collaborate with cross-campus Kids Ministry peers to advance the Next Generation's faith.

Responsibilities

• Oversees all aspects of Lafayette Elementary small group experience.
• Recruits, trains, leads, equips, develops and motivates small group leaders.
• Ensures weekend small group leader presence.
• Builds relationships with small group leaders and coaches.
• Communicates vision and curriculum to small group leaders.
• Assists with administrative tasks and parent communications.
• Aligns with larger kids’ ministry vision.
• Collaborates with cross-campus Kids Ministry peers in shared initiatives.

REPORTS TO: Lafayette Elementary Director

CLASSIFICATION: Full-Time//Salary//Pastoral//On-Site – Lafayette Campus//Sat-Wed//Includes Holiday, Weekend, And Evening Hours.

• Experience serving small groups in a ministry format.

Requirements

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Oversees all aspects of the Lafayette Elementary small group experience.
• Recruits, trains, leads, equips, develops and motivates small group leaders.
• Ensures weekend small group leader presence
• Builds relationships with small group leaders and small group coaches.
• Communicates vision and curriculum to small group leaders.
• Assists with administrative tasks and needs of the ministry – credit card reports, emails, communication with parents, tracking attendance, etc.
• Contributes and collaborates with larger kids’ ministry vision.
• Collaborates with cross-campus Kids Ministry peers in shared initiatives.
