Job summary

Commercial Metals Company (CMC) is seeking a safety-focused Ladle Crane Operator for our steel melt shop. You will operate a remote-controlled overhead crane to transport ladles and materials, receive training on equipment, and help ensure safe, efficient production in a demanding, fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Operate a remote-controlled overhead crane to transport ladles, steel, and other materials
• Participate in safety programs and uphold CMC safety culture
• Inspect equipment logs and reports each shift
• Troubleshoot issues and communicate production needs
• Support continuous improvement and housekeeping duties
• Perform other duties as assigned
