Carilion Clinic in Roanoke, VA is seeking a part-time Lactation Consultant (RN) to coordinate and provide individualized lactation care for patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings. You will assess, plan, implement and evaluate breastfeeding support, document care accurately, educate families, and collaborate with the health care team to improve maternal and infant outcomes.

• Requires Associate degree in Nursing (RN)
• One year maternal/child care in acute setting with lactation skills
• RN licensure; IBCLC within 12 months of hire
• Must complete orientation and competency requirements; CPR required

Responsabilidades

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate breastfeeding care to optimize mother/infant outcomes.
• Document care completely and timely in patient records.
• Collaborate with health care team to develop and adjust an interdisciplinary plan of care.
