Job summary

Medical University Hospital Authority (MUHA) is seeking a compassionate Lactation Consultant PRN to support new mothers and families in our obstetrics unit. The role focuses on identifying and correcting lactation problems, leading breastfeeding classes, and advising clinicians on lactation care.

This position requires 1 year related experience and BLS certification; International Board Certified Lactation Consultant is preferred and must be obtained before the two-year anniversary.

Qualifications

• Identifies and corrects lactation problems.
• Leads breastfeeding classes for expecting mothers.
• Advises physicians and healthcare providers on lactation-related issues.
• Provides staff education to meet baby-friendly designation.
• Serves Neonates, Infants, Adolescents and Adults in lactation care.
