Job summary

You will collaborate with nurses, physicians, and community partners to help families meet their breastfeeding goals, provide ongoing support, and contribute to program development and quality initiatives.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in health science or nursing; bachelor’s preferred.
• BLS certification required; instructor options on file.
• IBCLC certification within 1 year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Inpatient and outpatient lactation consultations.
• Assess infant feeding and latch; create feeding plans.
• Provide education to mothers and families.
• Coordinate with NICU and hospital staff; document care.
• Manage helpline and referrals.
