Job summary

Ascension Saint Agnes Hospital in Baltimore, MD, is seeking an experienced lactation care RN to join the Lactation Center. You will deliver personalized lactation care from birth through discharge and educate families on breastfeeding benefits.

You will mentor staff nurses and physicians, design standardized teaching plans, and drive clinical improvement by monitoring feeding outcomes using real-time data. Evening, full-time schedule with salary $38.60–$55.16 per hour.

Qualifications

• RN credential from the Maryland Board of Nursing before hire
• BLS Provider preferred (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)
• IBLCE lactation credential preferred
• STABLE or similar neonatal resuscitation certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Deliver personalized, evidence-based lactation care from birth through discharge.
• Educate families on breastfeeding benefits and techniques.
• Mentor staff nurses and physicians to elevate infant care standards.
• Design standardized patient teaching plans for consistency.
