Job summary

Kickemuit Middle School in Warren, Rhode Island is seeking an Assistant Coach for Lacrosse (Boys) for the Spring 2026-27 season, contingent on funding and sign-ups. This after-school/Evening position involves promoting and coordinating the lacrosse program with attention to administration, equipment, and scheduling.

Candidates should have secondary school coaching experience; RI Athletic Coach certification (NFHS Fundamentals of Coaching and Sudden Cardiac Arrest) and current Red Cross CPR/First

Qualifications

• Experience coaching at secondary school level preferred.
• RI Citizenship, residency or work visa required.
• RI Rules annual recertification and NFHS Concussion course must be completed.

Responsibilities

• Promote, coordinate and continually improve the interscholastic lacrosse program.
• Manage administration, equipment, uniforms, travel, scheduling and team logistics.
• Uphold district values and education focus in athletics, fostering student growth and sportsmanship.
