Job summary

Kickemuit Middle School in Warren, RI seeks an assistant girls lacrosse coach for Spring 2026-27, contingent on funding and sign-ups. Responsibilities include supporting the head coach, program administration, equipment, travel planning, and adherence to district policies.

Experience coaching at the secondary school level is preferred. RI Athletic Coach certification (NFHS Fundamentals of Coaching and Sudden Cardiac Arrest) and current Red Cross CPR/First Aid are required, with annual RI Rules

Qualifications

• Rhode Island Certificate for Athletic Coach (NFHS Fundamentals of Coaching).
• NFHS Sudden Cardiac Arrest certification.
• Current Red Cross CPR and First Aid certifications; annual RI Rules and NFHS Concussion refresh.

Responsibilities

• Assist head coach with planning and implementing lacrosse activities for spring season.
• Coordinate equipment, travel, scheduling and team management in accordance with district policies.
• Promote sportsmanship, character development and student growth in the athletic program.
