Job summary

Simplex Construction Management, Inc. is accepting applications for an on-site, long-term IT Systems Administrator position in Southern California, specifically Monterey Park. The role demands 7+ years in systems and network administration with strong Windows Server expertise, AD/Entra ID, Office 365, SharePoint, and security tooling.

Direct hire with no relocation funds. Location: PMO, Monterey Park, CA. Salary range $146K–$163K, with authorization to work in the US without sponsorship.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of applicable systems and network administration experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four-year college with a degree in computer science or related field; additional four years qualifying experience may substitute for education.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, positive attitude and keen attention to detail.
• Excellent collaborative and team skills and ability to present ideas in user-friendly and non-technical language.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Current Windows Server and Internet protocols: DNS, DHCP, SMTP, HTTP, HTTPS, SFTP,
• Familiarity with Microsoft Active Directory Services, Entra ID, Office 365, and document SharePoint management system
• Experience with VPN Appliances and Cisco Meraki Appliances
• Working knowledge of Enterprise Antivirus, CrowdStrike, Zoom Administration, Microsoft Teams, and network security including VPNs, ACLs, IPSEC, SSL
• Experience with Web site, intranet, and SharePoint support, and PowerShell scripting and automation. Able to develop scripted solutions to automate and/or simplify manual administrative processes and procedures.
• Experience with VMware, Hyper-V hypervisors, & cloud architecture
• Knowledge of Cybersecurity and privacy principles, Rubrik Backup and Recovery, and Nessus and Splunk

The pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be dependent on factors such as individual’s qualifications, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities.
