Job summary

Legends Global is seeking a part-time Mechanic to perform maintenance and repairs of pneumatic, hydraulic, diesel and propane operated equipment used for power generation, hauling, moving and lifting during events at the Los Angeles Convention Center.

The role requires safe, efficient work, collaboration with multiple departments, and the ability to work onsite during events. Candidates should be prepared for varied duties across venue systems and equipment.

• Maintenance and repair of pneumatic and hydraulic systems and equipment
• Ability to work on diesel, gas and propane operated gear used for power generation, hauling, moving and lifting during events

The center is committed to delivering excellent service and exceeding expectations for clients and guests at every event.SUMMARYESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESMECHANIC: In safe and efficient manner, performs maintenance and repairs of pneumatic and hydraulic systems, diesel, gas and propane operated equipment used for power generating, hauling, moving and lifting personnel, supplies and equipment, fire and roll-up doors, electric/gas carts, boom/scissor lifts, trash compactors, sweepers, scrubbers, vehicles, landscaping equipment, air-walls, structural facility repairs, assisting the Engineers with repairs to generators, fire pumps, compressors, exhaust fans and air handler units.QUALIFICATIONSEDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCESKILLS AND ABILITIESOTHER QUALIFICATIONSPHYSICAL DEMANDSThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by a Team Member to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
