Job summary

Legends Global at the Los Angeles Convention Center seeks a full-time Mechanic to maintain and repair critical venue equipment in a fast-paced environment. You will work with the Operations team under the Assistant Superintendent, performing service on pneumatic and hydraulic systems and related gear to ensure safe, reliable events.

This on-site role requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, follow safety rules, and support event operations from setup to teardown, with a union-friendly base

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair pneumatic and hydraulic systems and related equipment.
• Operate and service diesel, gas and propane powered equipment.
• Assist Engineers with generators, pumps, compressors, fans and air handlers.

SUMMARY

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

MECHANIC: In safe and efficient manner, performs maintenance and repairs of pneumatic and hydraulic systems, diesel, gas and propane operated equipment used for power generating, hauling, moving and lifting personnel, supplies and equipment, fire and roll-up doors, electric/gas carts, boom/scissor lifts, trash compactors, sweepers, scrubbers, vehicles, landscaping equipment, air-walls, structural facility repairs, assisting the Engineers with repairs to generators, fire pumps, compressors, exhaust fans and air handler units.

This is an onsite position that requires in-person collaboration with multiple departments and coverage of events from start to finish.
