Klamath Basin Behavioral Health is seeking an LAC Specialist in Southern Oregon to join a multidisciplinary team. This role supports adults with mental health, substance use, and behavioral health needs, guiding admissions, stabilization, and discharge planning within sobering and hold programs.

The position emphasizes recovery-oriented care, compassionate service, and collaboration with nursing and behavioral health staff to ensure safe, patient-centered support on day and night shifts.

Qualifications

• Meet Oregon requirements for QMHA designation.
• Understanding of behavioral health services and recovery-oriented care.
• Effective communication with individuals experiencing mental health and substance use challenges.

Responsibilities

• Complete admissions, discharges, and related documentation.
• Provide discharge planning and coordinate referrals to appropriate services and supports.
• Monitor and document client status, behaviors, and outcomes.
• Participate in treatment planning and interdisciplinary care discussions.
• Deliver therapeutic and skills-based interventions as directed by the individual's service plan.
• Administer medications and perform basic nursing-related tasks when trained, authorized, and delegated in accordance with state regulations.
