Job summary
Oak Ridge National Laboratory seeks an Instrumentation and Control Systems Engineer in the EICE group to design, develop, test, and deploy LabVIEW-based data acquisition, monitoring, and control solutions for enrichment systems and testbeds. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure system performance, safety, and reliability.
Responsibilities include real-time monitoring software, hardware interface design, documentation, and mentoring team members; the role requires DOE Q
Qualifications
- BS degree in Software, Electrical, or Computer Engineering or closely related field.
- Minimum 5 years developing industrial monitoring and control apps with NI LabVIEW.
- Experience leading software development projects and collaborating with teams.
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and optimize LabVIEW software for data acquisition, monitoring, and control.
- Lead real-time monitoring and control software deployments for safe, reliable operations.
- Manage software products through requirements, design, testing, and configuration control.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to translate requirements into software designs.
- Contribute to DAQ hardware design, signal conditioning, and time synchronization.
