Job summary

Pentangle Tech Services | P5 Group in Michigan is seeking an experienced Automotive Test Engineer to design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and test frameworks for automotive ECUs.

You will perform SIL/HIL automated and regression testing, derive automation-ready test cases from system requirements, execute tests, analyze logs, report defects, and collaborate with development and system teams to improve test coverage.

Qualifications

• 3 to 8 years of automotive testing experience.
• Strong VeriStand and Python automation experience; debugging with NI PXI Bench.
• Experience in Canoe Vector; software integration testing with BCM.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and test framework for automotive ECUs.
• Perform SIL/HIL automated testing and regression testing.
• Derive automation-ready test cases from system and software requirements.
• Execute tests, analyse logs, and report defects; collaborate to improve test coverage.

Required Skills

• 3 to 8 years of Automotive Testing Experience
• Strong experience in NI VeriStand and Python based automation, Debugging experience with NI PXI Bench
