Job summary

Gusto is hiring an Operations Lead (Labs Lead) to build and run Benefits Labs, the system governing how Benefits tests, validates, and scales operational change. You will own the full Labs lifecycle, from intake to readouts, and design AI-powered agents and workflows to run pilots at scale.

Responsibilities

• Own intake and triage: run the AI-powered intake system and classify work.
• Run pilot governance with clear metrics and AI-driven workflows.
• Raise design quality by testing hypotheses and refining success criteria.
• Build and improve the Labs lifecycle across intake routing, execution, evidence synthesis, and readouts.
• Solve systemic problems by turning repeatable issues into scalable AI workflows.
• Drive decision-making with evidence-based narratives for leadership.
