Job summary

A well-established healthcare system in Washington is seeking a full-time Laborist (OB/GYN) to join its collaborative Women’s Health team. This role involves providing in-house Labor & Delivery coverage, managing obstetric triage, and performing deliveries in a supportive team environment. Qualifications

Experience in high-risk obstetrics is preferred; strong new graduates welcome.
Board certification in OB/GYN required.
Eligibility for Washington State medical licensure is necessary.

Responsibilities

Provide in-house Labor & Delivery coverage.
Manage obstetric triage, admissions, and emergency OB/GYN cases.
Perform vaginal deliveries and cesarean sections.
Provide gynecologic emergency care and urgent surgical procedures as needed
Support and collaborate with Certified Nurse Midwives and Family Medicine OB providers
Respond to urgent obstetric and surgical emergencies
Work closely with anesthesia, pediatrics, neonatology, and nursing teams
Ensure safe, high-quality maternal and fetal care

Skills

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology

Experience in high-risk obstetrics preferred

Education

Eligible for Washington State medical licensure

Location: Renton, Washington

A well-established, not-for-profit healthcare system in the Renton, Washington area is actively seeking a full-time Laborist (OB/GYN) to join its collaborative Women’s Health team. This is a team-based, patient-centered environment serving a diverse patient population, with strong system-wide clinical support and resources.

The organization participates in the Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) Program.

Position Overview

Provide in-house Labor & Delivery coverage
Manage obstetric triage, admissions, and emergency OB/GYN cases
Perform vaginal deliveries and cesarean sections
Provide gynecologic emergency care and urgent surgical procedures as needed
Support and collaborate with Certified Nurse Midwives and Family Medicine OB providers
Respond to urgent obstetric and surgical emergencies
