Job summary

The Provider Finder in Renton, WA is seeking an experienced Laborist (OB/GYN) to join a high-volume labor and delivery team. The role focuses on inpatient obstetric care, including triage, labor management, deliveries, and emergent procedures.

This full-time, permanent position requires collaboration with midwives, OB/GYNs, anesthesiology, and neonatology, with strong teamwork and a commitment to high clinical standards.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited OB/GYN residency.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology; WA licensure eligible.

Responsibilities

• Provide 24/7 inpatient obstetric care through scheduled Laborist shifts.
• Manage labor, perform vaginal deliveries, and assist with cesarean sections.
• Respond to obstetric emergencies (e.g., shoulder dystocia, postpartum hemorrhage).
• Support triage evaluations and make timely clinical decisions.
• Collaborate with midwives, OB/GYN physicians, anesthesia, neonatology, and L&D staff.
• Provide gynecologic urgent care and assist with inpatient consults.
• Ensure accurate EMR documentation and participate in quality initiatives.
