Job summary

Arcosa Aggregates is seeking a Laborer/Welder based at the Old Bridge, NJ Recycle Plant to support a strong safety culture in an OSHA-regulated aggregate environment. The role covers general labor, welding duties, and plant maintenance within the East Region.

The candidate should have at least 1 year of experience, welding knowledge preferred, and a team-focused attitude. This on-site position requires physical stamina to work outdoors in various weather conditions and gear up for daily safety

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience.
• Prompt, regular, and predictable attendance.
• Welding knowledge preferred.
• Positive, team-based attitude.
• Ability to stand, stoop, bend, lift, walk, climb stairs, ladders, and catwalks up to 60 feet.
• Ability to work in varied outdoor environments (cold, hot, dry, dusty, rainy).
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Actively promote safety awareness and continuous improvement through positive recognition.
• Perform general labor tasks including shoveling, raking, and moving materials as needed.
• Participate in routine maintenance, cleaning, washing of the facility and equipment.
• Operate small equipment as needed such as a skid steer, haul truck or water truck.
• Comply with all industry safety rules, policies, procedures and applicable government regulations.
• Perform daily workplace inspections and report deficiencies to supervisor.
• Maintain strong communications with other plant employees and operators.
• Perform other duties or responsibilities as assigned.

Arcosa Aggregates is seeking a Laborer/ Welder based out of our Old Bridge, NJ Recycle Plant to support a positive safety culture in an aggregate environment that is regulated by OSHA safety standards. in our East Region. This role is responsible for Comply with all industry safety rules, policies, procedures and applicable government regulations.

Day to Day

Working Conditions

While most equipment has air conditioning, there will be times when other responsibilities may require periods of work in all weather conditions including heat, cold, wet, dry, and dusty.

Compensation

$16.22 – $18.54
