Overview

Looking for an opportunity to make a difference? We are seeking a Laborer to join our team in supporting telecommunications construction projects. The Laborer will perform general labor duties as directed by the Foreman/Supervisor, including all phases of underground construction such as loading, driving, delivery, digging, removal, and placement of various construction materials and equipment.

What you'll do...

1. Dig using hand shovels and mechanical tools.
2. Install and maintain underground telecommunications cabling.
3. Climb in and out of equipment (trucks, cars, backhoes, trenchers, etc.).
4. Operate or work around heavy equipment and machinery.
5. Work in congested or remote areas.
6. Maintain visual and audible contact with crew members and all moving or stationary persons/vehicles/objects to ensure safe coordination.
7. Perform general construction work under the direction of Foreman/Supervisor.
8. Maintain safe working habits and conditions according to all regulations, procedures, and policies.

Who we are looking for...

1. You are at least 18 years old.
2. You are authorized to work in the United States.
3. You have a valid standard Driver's License or Class A Commercial Driver's License.
4. You have basic knowledge of and ability to operate utility trucks and equipment safely.
5. You have basic knowledge of and ability to use hand tools and equipment safely.
6. You may have experience in utility construction.
7. You may have the ability to read prints and interpret utility maps.
8. You can communicate effectively with customers and colleagues.
9. You can lift/carry 50 lbs regularly and up to 75 lbs as needed.
10. You can work overtime, after hours, weekends, or on-call for emergencies.
11. You can maintain a safe work environment.
12. You can work in all weather conditions.
