Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older and authorized to work in the U.S.
• Valid Driver's License or Class A Commercial Driver's License preferred.

At North Sky Communications, LLC, as a Laborer on our Telecom Underground team, you’ll participate in all phases of underground construction, including loading, delivery, digging, and equipment operation.

What you’ll do as a Laborer

• Perform construction tasks including loading, delivery, digging, and operating equipment
• Install underground telecommunications cabling
• Operate construction equipment and maintain work areas
• Communicate effectively with team members
• Complete daily production reports
• Assist with site restoration
• Work in all weather conditions
• Perform other duties as assigned

What you’ll need

• Be 18 years or older
• Authorization to work in the U.S.
• Valid Driver's License or Class A Commercial Driver's License
• High School Diploma, GED, or relevant experience
• Experience with hand tools and utility trucks is preferred
• CDL (Class A) preferred
• Ability to read prints and interpret utility maps
• Effective communication skills
• Ability to lift/carry 50 lbs regularly and up to 75 lbs as needed
• Availability for overtime, after-hours, weekends, or emergency calls
• Commitment to safety and working in all weather conditions

Physical abilities & exposures

• Routinely: work alone in remote locations, operate machinery, handle fine hand motions, bend, stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs, lift over 55 pounds
• Occasionally: use ladders, keyboards, and mice

Salary Range: $22.00 - $28.00/hour, depending on experience
