At North Sky Communications, LLC., as a Laborer on our Telecom Underground team, you’ll participate in all phases of underground construction, including loading, delivery, digging, and equipment operation.

What you’ll do as a Laborer

• Perform construction tasks including loading, delivery, digging, and operating equipment
• Install underground telecommunications cabling
• Operate construction equipment, and maintain work areas
• Clearly communicate with all team members
• Complete daily production reports
• Help with site restoration efforts
• Perform work in all weather conditions
• Other duties as assigned

What you’ll need

• Be 18 years of age or older
• Authorization to work in the United States
• Valid Driver's License or Class A Commercial Driver's License
• High School Diploma, GED or relevant work experience
• Experience with hand tools and utility trucks is preferred
• CDL (Class A) preferred
• Ability to read prints and interpret utility maps
• Effective communication skills
• Ability to lift/carry 50 lbs regularly and up to 75 lbs as needed
• Ability to work overtime, after hours, weekends, or on-call for emergencies
• Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment
• Ability to work in all weather conditions

Physical abilities & exposures

• Routinely: work alone in remote locations, operate machinery, manipulate hand tools, and lift over 55 pounds
• Occasionally: use ladder, keyboard, and mouse

Salary Range: $22.00 - $28.00 / hour, depending on experience.
