At Star Construction, as a Laborer on our Telecom Underground team, you'll participate in all phases of underground construction, including loading, delivery, digging, and equipment operation.

What you’ll do as a Laborer

• Perform construction tasks including loading, delivery, digging, and operating equipment
• Install underground telecommunications cabling
• Operate construction equipment and maintain work areas
• Communicate clearly with team members
• Complete daily production reports
• Assist with site restoration efforts
• Work in all weather conditions
• Perform other duties as assigned

What you’ll need

• Be at least 18 years old
• Authorization to work in the United States
• High School Diploma, GED, or relevant work experience
• Previous experience with hand tools and utility trucks is preferred

Physical abilities & exposures

• Routinely: work alone in remote locations and confined spaces, operate vehicles and machinery, perform manual tasks including lifting over 55 pounds, bending, stooping, standing, walking, and climbing stairs
• Occasionally: use ladder, keyboard, and mouse

Starting Range: $18.00 to $24.00/hr (based on experience)
